Colorado Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A 55-year-old Colorado man, Randolph Turnbull, died after a car crashed into the motorcycle he was riding on a country road in Brighton. Turnbull died on arrival to the Platte Valley Medical Center; his passenger, Bonnie Turnbull, survived but suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a Denver hospital. Neither Turnbulls was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Toyota that hit them cyclists, 34-year-old James Hayward, suffered moderate injuries and faces a charge of careless driving causing death.
