Actor Dennis Quaid, whose children were recently involved in a medical malpractice scare after being given way too much Heparin in Cedars-Sinai Hospital, has recently announced that he feels hospital staff misled him while his newborn twins were being treated. The staff told Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, that the children were “fine” even as staff members scrambled to reverse an overdose of the blood-thinning drug.

Just two hours before a phone call in which Quaid was told everything was ok, nurses had noticed his daughter was oozing blood from an i.v. site on her arm and a spot on her heel.

Quaid and his wife feel betrayed because their children could have been dying while this was going on.
