Gerald J. Pomerantz - This is not a conventional bio - it's not my style! I could do it, but it is not me. But the fact of the matter is that, if you're shopping for a law firm that will be there for you and win big, for me you are at the right place.

Who am I? There again, I could give you a string-cite of my experience, but I am not looking for a job, instead let me tell you things that I think really matter:

Blue collar background: my father was a truck driver and my mother a salesperson. No silver spoon - worked my way through school - sax player, newspaper boy, sewer worker, SEPTA bus counter, bus boy and waiter ... Whatever it took ... that's how I got my stick-to'ed-ness, and everywhere there were people - people who I could relate to and people I loved.

The law degree hanging on my wall gave me another vehicle - but I am the same person. The difference is - that now when I help - the client often walks out with the six-figure or million dollar settlement or verdict. Yes - I am in the million dollar club! And - when I pick a partner like Norman Perlberger - I get the craftsman, the quality of a lawyer, for sure, but I get a person who feels about people the way I do. Along with my long-time partner, Eliot H. Lewis, we three provide excellent, personal and professional service to our clients.

RESULTS? Well, I got the biggest verdict in Pennsylvania - $13.5 Million - in a products liability defective brake case. How did it happen? Preparation and trial at its best - but what made it stand out was the original lawyer who referred it to me didn't like the case. I had a reputation for getting results where others thought there was nothing. The defendants refused to settle ... they were sorry later.

Most of the time they settle with confidential settlements. The defense firms know us well. When our cases settle, they settle right for our clients. When the defense gets stupid, they end up with big verdicts against them.

Let me just give you a couple more examples - when a defense carrier refused our demand for $350,000 for a leg injury - a fair and good amount had we settled - we took a verdict of a Million with delay damages. They paid more than the $500,000 in coverage to get it done.

Another instance - a lady was falsely accused of stealing a bottle of paprika from Acme Markets - her first lawyer had blown the case - it was a long shot nobody wanted and by the time it was all over, they paid $300,000!

Or - a $518,000 settlement for the estate of a 93-year old woman who died from carbon monoxide poisoning - no one wanted the case - she was old and had no pain and suffering when she died in her sleep - I figured out that there was a design defect in the heating system and how to credibly seek punitive damages. After a few depositions, the laughter and arrogance stopped. A no settlement posture became a half million dollar recovery.

There is a lot more - but I suggest you call for a no obligation consultation.; I will listen. Our team will investigate and research, ponder and labor over your case and, if we take you on, I will be there for you so that you get what you deserve.

What else? I am an owner of The Bilinki Cycle Works.
